New Information about Mailed Registrations! 

Registration Overview 

To attend any events or activities at Katsucon 2026, you must be a registered attendee of the convention. 

If you are a member of an anime club or similar organization, your group may be eligible to pre-register as a group to obtain additional convention registration savings. 

For Katsucon 2026, all badge purchases before January 2, 2026 will be mailed to attendees. After that date, you must pick up your badge at the door. Your badge must always be worn in order to gain entry to the convention event space and activities. Should you need to purchase at the door you must present a valid government issued photo id, containing your birthdate.

Acceptable forms of identification include: 

  • Driver’s license, 
  • State-issued photo ID, 
  • US Government or Military ID card, 
  • US or foreign passport. 

Other identity documents may or may not be accepted at the discretion of our Registration department (school identification cards will only be accepted as specified in the section below). Please see complete rules below

Please note: every person must be registered as a unique attendee. Please register with your legal name that matches your photo ID to ensure everyone can pick up their badges. All attendees are required to be present in order to pick up their own badges if picking up badge at the event. 

Mailed Registrations

Katsucon is planning to mail badges to attendees for our pre-registration process. The badge mailing process is only applicable to those registering within the continental United States.  There is no international shipping.  All international registrations will be available at the Registration Hall pickup location at the convention during Registration Hall Operating Hours.  There is no option for selecting mailing or selecting picking up your registration.  All preregistration prior to January 2, 2026, will only have to option for the badge to be shipped prior to the start of the convention. 

The deadline for shipping registrations is January 2nd, 2026. There are no exceptions.  Registration Badges will be mailed out between the third and fourth week of January.  Please check our social media outlets for exact dates.  Our FAQ page on Mailing badges is continuously updated, so check in regularly for any information updates throughout the year. Key Items to Note when Registering:

  • Use your accurate address when registering.  Do not use a temporary address as you may miss your registration and will have to pay for a new one. 
  • If you’re going to move, you have until January 2, 2026, to make sure your address is correct in the Tixr system. 
  • We cannot combine any registration. 
  • These do not apply to group registrations.  Group registrations must be picked up at the door. 
  • There are no refunds for mailed registrations once the deadline has passed. No exceptions.

As part of our striving to be a contributing force for good in the world, Katsucon has gone GREEN! Pre-Registration is now available online only. 

Every person must be registered as a unique attendee. Please use legal names that match your photo ID to ensure everyone can pick up their badges. All attendees are required to be present to pick up their own badges.

Badge Rates Disclaimers 

  • Children age 7 and under are admitted free of charge with a paying adult. 
  • VIP rates are not subject to any discount; this is a special, enhanced registration and is available in limited quantity and by pre-registration only.  
  • See VIP Registrations for further details.  
  • VIP registrations will be limited to 500.  
  • Please remember to bring your photo ID as noted in the section below
  • Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. 
  • Children age 13-17 are not required to be accompanied, but we encourage parents and/or legal guardians to remain involved in their attendance at the convention. 
  • Groups of ten or more people registering in the same transaction are eligible for a discount of $5 off each paid registration included in the transaction. Please see Group Registration for details before registering. 
  • If you purchase your badge after the mailing deadline date you will need to pick up your badge in the registration hall location.  
  • Please bring a government issued, photo ID containing your birthdate and a printout of your confirmation email.  
  • Government issued Photo ID containing your birthdate is required, and the confirmation email is helpful in the event of misspellings or problems, as it is proof of registration. All attendees are required to be present in order to pick up their own badges. 
  • Pre-registered badges may be picked up at any time Registration is open; see hours below. 

At-Door Registration

To avoid any confusion or concern over how long a badge is good for and to ensure that a badge lasts all the way through evening events, Katsucon only sells weekend badges. The price of the badge will decrease daily as the con progresses. The At-Door Registration rates are:

Online Pre-Registration will remain open through the convention weekend at “At Door Pricing”. 

Registrations purchased after January 2nd, 2026, are NONREFUNDABLE. If you have any reason to believe that your travel plans may be cancelled, please wait until you arrive to make your purchase. 

All registrations purchased online are eligible for early badge pick-up on Thursday, the week of the event or during the event, use the faster pre-registration lines on Friday through Sunday. 

Because all badges are good for the entire weekend, the discounted rates for Saturday and Sunday arrivals cannot be purchased in advance. 

The At-Door Registration Hours will be

  • Thursday: 5pm – 11pm (Pre-registration badge pick-up only. At Door badges will not be sold this day.) 
  • Friday: 9am – Midnight (At Door Sales Begin) 
  • Saturday: 9am – 11pm 
  • Sunday: 9am – 12pm 
  • Pre-registered badges may be purchased and picked up at any time Registration is open. 

Group Registration

If you are a member of an anime club, similar organization, or just a group of family or friends, your group may be eligible to pre-register as a Group to obtain additional convention registration savings. Groups of 10 to 15 qualify for a discount of $5 per group member off the pre-registration price when registering on or before January 3rd 2026. Group registrations will only be picked up at door.  There is no group registration discount after January 4. The group discount cannot be applied to registrations after purchase. 

If you wish to register as a group, please email [email protected] to request a group discount code on or before January 3rd, 2026. Include the name of your group plus the first and last names of all the members of your group that will be registering. Once you have received your group discount code, you should register you members into the Katsucon Tixr Registration page.  You will receive the confirmation once you have registered.  

NOTICE

If Refunds of group registrations are done when those individuals were registered as part of a group benefiting from a group discount, then they risk invalidating the group discount if it causes the group to drop below the required number of people (10 People).  Thus, a full refund of the group registration will be done, and a new group registration will need to be purchased. 

Accessibility

For attendees with mobile accessibility challenges, blindness, severe hearing challenges, and other chronic medical issues, Katsucon offers Disability Support Services (DSS). The kiosk is located directly in front of the general attendee registration location. We offer a quick-access Registration line for those who have pre-registered along with a wristband that grants the following benefits: 

  • Assistance with Elevators – priority access to elevator use and/or use to additional elevators that the hotel staff use. 
  • Chair in line– grants privilege to either have a chair while waiting in line if there are any that are accessible, or have a proxy stand in line for you 
  • Seating close to the stage – If you have hearing or vision issues, you may request to be seated close to the stage within the various panel rooms 
  • Extra Space for mobility devices – Allows extra room/chair space for your device/service dog as needed 
  • Assistant attendees – you may designate up to two additional attendees/staff members as your assistants, so they may be with you within the ADA assigned areas or travel with you onto the elevators with priority status

Accessibility F.A.Q

  • We do not provide scooters nor rent out wheelchairs or other mobility aids. 
  • The only animals allowed within the Gaylord are service dogs or grandfathered miniature horses. Emotional support animals are not allowed.  KEI adheres to the Gaylord National policy regarding service animals.  
  • The First Aid group will handle medical bag checks going forward. These are the small bags that attendees are allowed to bring with them into restricted areas that contain needed medical supplies. For further information please refer to the Medical Necessity Bag Policy located on our attendee policies page.   

Photo Identification 

All attendees 13 and older are required to show photo identification in order to pick-up or purchase a registration. (Attendees 12 and younger who are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian also registered for the convention and bearing the required ID are exempt.) If you are between the ages of 13-17 and have a student ID from your school that has your legal name and current photo for the 2025/2026 school year, this will be accepted. 

If you are between the ages of 13-17 and you do not have any photo ID but have a parent attending who does have ID and can vouch for who you say you are, this will be accepted. 

Acceptable forms of identification include: 

  • Driver’s license or learner’s permit 
  • State-issued Non-Driver ID Card 
  • Passport 
  • ISIC (International Student Identity Card) 
  • Government or Military ID

Note: If you or your child does not have a photo ID, you may be able to obtain one at a reasonable fee through your state’s Motor Vehicles office. If you have questions or require assistance, please contact us [email protected]

Badge Transfer Policy 

If you’ve pre-registered to come to Katsucon and find yourself unable to attend, you will need to contact our pre-registration team. 

If you have any questions about this procedure, email [email protected], or ask the Registration team when you arrive to pick up your badges. 

Badge Replacement Policy 

In the event you lose your badge, please check with both the conventions’ Lost and Found as well as the hotel’s. If neither location has your badge, you may be able to purchase a new badge at Registration for a reduced price with proof of registration. Please show your photo ID and receipt to the Registration staff so they can verify your prior purchase. No free badge replacements will be issued. 

Refund Policies 

While we hope everyone who expresses a desire to attend Katsucon has the opportunity to enjoy our convention experience, we understand that life sometimes interferes with travel plans. To that end, we will honor requests for refunds of pre-registration fees if they meet the following criteria: 

Refunds must be requested through email to the [email protected]. When you request a refund, please include your name and the order number of your registration.  If you have more than one registration in your order, please be specific exactly which one(s) should be refunded. 

Refunds must be requested by the purchaser of a registration, and funds will be returned directly to the purchaser via method of purchase.  

All requests for refunds must be submitted on or before January 2nd, 2026. Registrations purchased after January 2nd, are nonrefundable. Refund requests for registrations purchased after January 2nd, 2026 will not be honored for any reason.  

Refund requests for mailed registrations will not be honored for any reason after January 2nd, 2026. 

Refund requests will not be accepted after January 2nd, 2026 for conditions that do not impact Katsucon’s ability to be held as scheduled. Should weather (or other conditions) cause Katsucon to not be held on its original date, an additional Refund Request period or transfer to a rescheduled event will be offered at that time.  

For groups of 10+ people receiving a group discount – If refunds are requested that causes the group to drop below the required number of people (10 People), a full refund of the group registration will be done and a new group registration will need to be purchased. 

Refund requests prior to the deadline will be completed within 30 days of the initial request. If you have requested a refund and have not received it within 30 days of the initial request, please contact us at that time for more information. 

Refunds may have fees deducted from the final amount as assessed by our payment processor. 

Donations are not refundable. We pass the money we collect in donations on to charity, we are not able to return it to you, even if your registration is refunded. 

No refunds will be issued for AT-DOOR registrations purchased for the convention.   

No refunds will be issued 30 days after the event has ended for any reason.

Filming Disclaimer 

By attending Katsucon, you will be subject to the following agreement: 

I, [your name], have been made aware that Katsucon is being filmed by the Video Productions Dept. I automatically agree that either I will make the film crew aware if I do not wish to be filmed OR I automatically agree to be filmed and am giving permission to Katsucon, and anyone affiliated to use the footage without compensation or acknowledgement. Camera operators can be approached at any time with any questions or concerns.
